Past, Present and Future
Nine Lives Hemp reflects the backstory of my own life and that of several around me where we've more than once rebounded from hardship to create a new beginning.
Few things reflect this more than the cannabis plant. And yes, cats.
The seed for working in the hemp space was planted in me back in 1992 when I bought a copy of Jack Herer's "The Emperor Wears No Clothes". The influences of that work struck a chord with my burgeoning interests in the research at the Rodale Institute into what we now call regenerative agriclture, and in broader climate issues.
Interest became conviction and then something more.
Nine Lives Hemp is the place where these passions have found fruition. We use organic, holistic practices to raise healthy and restorative hemp. And in the process we strive to leave the micro habitat around us a better and more life-sustaining place.
We don't offer anything we haven't raised ourselves so we can be certain of the quality of everything that goes into our products.
Hemp inspires us to be true to its potential as an ecological benefit. We use sunshine, companion plants, cover crops, beneficial insects and microbes, our own compost, and rainwater we collect onsite in our inputs.
We are proud to be part of this newly reborn industry and hope you enjoy what we have to offer.
